SkyV2X

Approach

A bridge, not a rebuild.

V2X doesn't replace your traffic infrastructure — it augments it. Our engagements are structured around that principle.

How an engagement works

01

Assessment

What's already on the street

We start with the equipment you have, not the equipment a greenfield slide would show. Controller models, communication protocols, wiring constraints, upstream SCADA, compliance requirements. A concrete picture of the baseline before anyone writes code.

Deliverable

Baseline report · Integration feasibility

02

Integration design

Mapping legacy to V2X

We design how your existing traffic management data will map into standard V2X messages. Intersection topology becomes MAPEM, signal phases become SPATEM — all designed on paper and validated before any deployment.

Deliverable

Message mapping · Integration spec

03

Bridge implementation

Software that connects both sides

A gateway sits between your legacy controller and the V2X radio. On one side, it speaks your controller's protocol. On the other, it generates and receives fully compliant V2X messages. Deployed on an industrial gateway or directly on the RSU.

Deliverable

Gateway software · Configuration

04

Field validation

Interop testing on site

Lab testing first, then on-site testing with real V2X receivers. We validate interoperability with multiple vendors and ensure compliance against European certification requirements. No deployment ends in a "works on my machine" state.

Deliverable

Test reports · Vendor sign-off · Go/no-go

05

Pilot & operate

From live deployment to handover

Live intersections, monitored message quality, and progressive rollout. We stay in the loop for the first operational period — because the interesting issues only appear under real traffic conditions.

Deliverable

Live deployment · Ops playbook · Handover

Principles

How we think about this work.

We start from reality, not from demos.

Every V2X vendor has a clean-slate demo. We work from the field back — which means harder decisions, but deployments that actually ship.

The integration layer is where the value is.

Radios are commoditizing. What stays hard is connecting V2X to the equipment that's been running the city for two decades.

Open standards, no lock-in.

We follow ETSI standards strictly. Our integrations work with any certified V2X radio platform — your choice of vendor is always your choice.

Compliance is non-negotiable.

Every V2X message we generate or process is validated against the same test suites used in official European interoperability events.

What we don't do

A short list, deliberately.

We don't sell radios. We work with every V2X hardware vendor. Choosing one would limit the problems we can solve.

We don't deliver strategy decks. Our deliverables are working software, test reports, and live integrations. If you need a roadmap with no implementation behind it, we're not the right partner.

We don't rebuild what works. If your legacy controller still does its job, we bridge it. Greenfield replacements are a last resort, not a default.
